Fal ‘Ngeestra reminds me of reeberry
I’ve been reading Iain M. Banks’s Consider Phlebas, and the character Fal ‘Ngeestra reminds me of reeberry, because she is intelligent, funny, sweet, assertive, and awesome.
I'd want you to know that I wish we could still get coffee or go to a diner together, because you're one of the people who made my entire high school experience so much brighter. I'm lucky to know you. <3
This is so sweet! <3 *Hugs*

When I do book signings, most of my line is made up of young girls with their mothers, teen girls alone, and mother friend groups. But there’s usually at least one boy with a stack of my books. This boy is anywhere from 8-19, he’s carrying a worn stack of the Books of Bayern,…

UPDATE OHMAN.
Oh man, green haired chick is (aggressively) carving out a spot in my heart. As is cheeky boy behind her. Also, awesome principal’s office. And also also, I love the demon. And Ava. But demon, man.
ALSO LOOK AT THOSE COLORS AND THAT ART AND WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS AND NOT THE COMIC?
Read this comic! And I agree about the principal’s office.
Why didn’t anyone make this sooner? I hate when people only use the word “said” in stories.
THANK YOU
BLESS YOUR COW
BLESS THIS POST.
CAN I MARRY A POST?
WHO EVER MADE THIS I LOVE YOU!
GOD BLESS

The first duty of the novelist is to entertain. It is a moral duty. People who read your books are sick, sad, traveling, in the hospital waiting room while someone is dying. Books are written by the alone for the alone.

So, you asked for the exact same colors that someone else did XD Yay coincidence! But, right back at you: indigo, violet and silver for you too!
indigo: what do you think is the greatest flaw in your writing?
I have trouble with dialogue and sometimes feel as though I don’t write it very realistically, the way people would actually talk. I really have to work on individualizing dialogue and thinking about how a certain character would speak, because I feel like my writing right now often has the characters speaking in a way that’s very similar to each other. I also feel like I can’t write “action” scenes (e.g. fights, passages where stuff is happening very quickly) very well.
violet: what is your favorite thing about your writing?
I think I sometimes think of interesting ways to start a story or a certain section/scene within a story, with a line or passage that is interesting and may make the reader (I hope) wonder what happens next. The trouble is that I sometimes get stuck in a certain passage I’m enjoying writing and then can’t think of how to move the story forward.
silver: top three sources of inspiration
- Other people’s writing, especially the books I love (because they teach me how to write) and the books I can’t stand (because they teach me how not to write). This is true for books, but also for movies, tv shows, etc.
- Stuff in my life, including fun situations with friends and boring situations that I think could be made more interesting by adding fantastical or science fiction elements.
- Historical events, such as the movements for equal rights, inspire me to write stories in which there is some element that is a metaphor for those historical events.
I think I’ll watch it because of Cameron and House/Cameron is still my favourite ship in that series (even if Chase was fucking awesome). Will I be too lost if I haven’t seen anything of the past 2 seasons?

You should be fine, especially if you have some general idea of what’s been going on from hearing about the show, even if you haven’t watched it.
Stuff that happened before the last episode that might be helpful to know is below the cut. There are also just some things that I find amusing which aren’t really relevant to the last episode, but are interesting to know about. (There are no spoilers for the last episode, but there are for the ones before it.)
red: when and how did you first realize you loved writing?
orange: who is your greatest literary inspiration, and why?
yellow: what is your favorite style?
green: whose style do you imitate the most?
blue: what is your favorite genre/subject on which to write?
indigo: what do you think is the greatest flaw in your writing?
violet: what is your favorite thing about your writing?
pink: what attracts you to writing in general? why do you love it?
silver: top three sources of inspiration
black: your dreams! be published, be a critical success? what?
lemon: do you write fanfiction? if so, what genre? otp?
lime: what are some of the most prevalent themes in your work?
brown: three favorite novels
